Campaign Goal Optimization

This is where you will learn which goal optimization setting best suits your campaign's needs.

Setting Goals and Optimization in the Audiohook Platform

Within the Audiohook platform we support setting goals and enabling your campaign to optimize toward those goals. Lets first review which goals we currently support.

In the optimization and attribution portion (highlighted in the red box below) of the UI, you'll notice a "goal optimization" section. In this section you will be able to select and input your your Max CPM requirements as well as the specific campaign goal of your choice:

In the below example, you will select one of the two types of campaign goals website visits or purchases, offered. Arrow markers point to each in red.

From here, once the campaign goal is selected you will then input a cost per goal that you'd like to optimize toward in the highlighted red box below.

Separately, you may choose an optimization setting that best suits your campaign needs.

Explanations of each option are numbered below:

1.) Not Optimized - The system will buy media regardless of how the audience or ad placements are performing. Note - Your campaign will be automatically be set to this option if the Audiohook pixel is not placed.

2.) Partially Optimized - The system will prioritize audiences and ad placements that are meeting the performance criteria based on your goal settings. With partial optimization, the system prioritizes budget delivery over performance optimizations. This means, while the system will work to hit your ideal performance requirement, it will only do so as long as the campaign continues to pace.

For example, if there is a large ad placement that is not performing well but makes up a substantial portion of your campaign's delivery, it will continue to buy on this ad placement in order to maintain delivery. It's important to mention that the system measures performance based on the Audiohook pixel. If the pixel is not installed, this setting will not function properly.

3.) Fully optimized - The system will prioritize audiences and ad placements that are meeting the performance criteria based on your goal settings. With full optimization, the system prioritizes performance optimizations over budget delivery over . This means, while the system will work to hit your ideal performance requirement, it will sacrifice delivery and may cause your campaign to under-pace.

IMPORTANT - If you set up a campaign goal but do not have the Audiohook pixel installed, this may result in your campaign not serving any impressions and halt spend.
