Introducing Assets

We are excited to announce a major update to creatives, which is now called Assets.

Previously with creatives, the audio file as well as companion ads and tracking pixels were all bundled together in a single creative. For simple campaigns with a single creative and tracking pixel, this worked fine. However, for campaigns with multiple tracking pixels and companion ads, this workflow required users to duplicate creatives and added a lot of extra effort.

Now with the new Asset workflow, users simply upload audio files and companion ads as individual files. To do this, navigate to the Assets tab on the main sidebar and click Upload New Creative Asset. Note that you do not need to select whether the asset is an audio asset or companion ad as the system will automatically detect this based on the type of file uploaded.

Then when setting up a campaign, the user can now select any number of audio assets as well as companion assets independently. Moreover, the tracking pixels are now added at the campaign level. Note that we still support a number of macros in the tracking pixel, which you can find here.

This allows users to upload an audio file once and reuse it again several times with different tracking pixels (and companion ads).

Note that we’ve automatically converted all previous creatives to this new Asset format so no changes are required to current campaigns or any campaigns that are setup to run in the future.
