Campaign Goals + CPA, Topics, Bid Modifiers

🎯 Campaign Goals + CPA Campaigns

The first page of campaign setup now starts with selecting a campaign goal:

  • If the Audiohook tracking tag is implemented, you’ll see options for:
    • Sales: Set a goal cost per sale
    • Lead Generation: set a goal cost per lead
    • Website Traffic: set a goal cost per pageview
    • App Installs: set a goal cost per app install
  • If no tag is implemented, only Brand (Awareness) will be available.

After choosing your name, date range, and goal, you can select a billing type:

  • Spend or Impressions → set budget, max CPM, pacing, and (optionally) max daily budget.
  • Pay per Action (CPA) → requires:
    • Date range longer than 60 days
    • Budget ($20K or more)
    • Billable amount (max)
    • Billable event (chosen from dropdown of eligible tag events). Note that in order for an event to be eligible, it must have occurred more than 100 times in the last 7 days.

⚠️ Important: CPA Campaigns

Agencies can now set up CPA campaigns directly in the UI. For scalability and success, our sales team recommends:

  • Minimum 10,000 monthly web visits
  • At least 400 monthly billable events

Anything below these thresholds may limit performance due to lack of signal.

🧠 Topics (AI-Powered)

You now have access to over 200,000 contextual topics, powered by AI. These are the actual topics of discussion from a podcast, not simply keywords.

  • Search keywords and filter by match strength
  • Quickly select relevant topics for your brand
  • Optionally: You can download topic lists and use them in bid modifiers (see below)

There is no additional cost for using topics 🙌

Using the Advanced Search option, you can select the tolerance for topic similarity. In this example, at tolerance 65, there are 367 topics that match the keyword outdoors. Click the plus to add all relevant topics to campaign. You can download the full list of keyword topics to either review or use in setting bid modifiers

📊 Bid Modifiers

A new layer of control has been added: bid modifiers.

  • Adjust how much you’re willing to pay for specific targeting elements, such as:
    • Geographies
    • Publishers
    • Contextual topics
    • …and more
  • Easily upload a CSV to manage bid adjustments at scale
